Yes, the system has a recovery media that you can download from Dell's support site: https://dell.to/2XNZgTp You do not need the activation key if a Dell recovery image is being used to reinstall the operating system. We would suggest you not to remove any Dell apps, however, you can contact Dell's technical support team on Twitter (@DellCares), one of Dell's support team member would assist you with any issues you're facing with the system.
