It doesn't come with DVD writer you have to purchase external cd/dvd reader/burner

I bought this computer for my mom so she could get rid of the trash one she was using. It did not even come with a disk drive. The slot that looks like the disc drive was just a piece of plastic covering the port where you could place one if you so choose. I also bought another high end gaming pc from Best Buy, and it did not have a disc drive either. I guess the new computers are mostly going all digital, which I think is ridiculous. Who doesn't want a disc disc drive in their pc ?

There is no internal CD/DVD drive. You will need to purchase an external USB drive.
