QuestionDoes the displayport 1.4 port support using a usb-c to displayport cable? or Does the HDMI 1.4b port support a usb-c to hdmi cable? I am using a Dell S2722QC 4K and Dell S2422HZ monitor and would like to use that with usb-c and S2722QC with Displayport.

- Answer If your monitor has DisplayPort or HDMI connections, it will work with this computer. My old monitor was VGA-only, so I tried 2 different HDMI monitors (from the spares in our basement) before I found one which would work with this Dell tower. (Apparently, there are 2 versions of HDMI connectors, and the Dell tower will only work with the newer/narrower version of HDMI connector.)

QuestionI like the computer, but If you are trying to add more DDR4 RAM, these 3 Consair brand that Bestbuy sells don't work even after firmware update: CMW32GX4M2E3200C16 CMK32GX4M2E3200C16 CMK32GX4M2B3200C16 If you find one that does, please let group know.

- Answer Crucial is what I had to buy for my 3910. It's guaranteed to work but I first bought the crucial pro and it didn't work. I sent it back and got the crucial without the heatsinks and it works fine. You can find it on their website.

- Answer I spoke to someone at Dell after I was disappointed to discover that my new Inspiron 3020 S does not have a dvd player. The woman told me that some of that model do have a dvd and some do not. Mine just has a cut-out outline where a dvd player should be. I am wondering whether I can have one installed, and if so, which one is right for the Inspiron 3020 S (small desktop). Anyone know?
