Microsoft made it very easy to transfer everything from my old Dell to the new one. You just upload everything to OneDrive (the Microsoft web site has very explicit directions on how to do it), and then set up the new computer and download everything to it. You may have to reinstall some apps, although most of mine came through. And I am NOT a techie, so anyone can do this --
