• Only if you take it out of S-Mode, then you can add whatever you want. I use firefox on mine. I use a USB DVD- drive from Best Buy of course.

• Yes, this system supports the installation and usage of Firefox browser. The internal CD burner cannot be added. An external USB DVD/CD drive could be used with this laptop.
