You can use either one or both. Sometimes it is nice to have the touch screen available for some kinds of input, but you can use the touchpad, touch screen or mouse as input devices.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, and in fact if you are using Windows, you can disable the touchpad if you don't want it interfering with your keyboard entry. Or you can enable the touchpad and the mouse so you can use both. Keep in mind, the screen is touchable as well.
