After submitting an answer previously, I found another possible solution. In an online Q and A, a reader responded that sometimes the numeric keypad on the right is sensitive to the vibration of typing, and can cause the cursor to jump around. He suggested pressing the "num lock" key at the top of the numeric keypad to turn it off. See if that works. Don't forget to turn it back on if you need to use the keypad! I hope this helps!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Other computers have adjustments for the sensitivity of a keyboard, to adjust for how you type. The internet even provides instructions how to adjust this in the Control Panel. However, I looked through the Control Panel on this new Dell Laptop and could not find any options to adjust the sensitivity of the keyboard. If your Dell is new, and still under warranty, ask the Geek Squad to check this. My keyboard seems to be working well so far, and is not jumpy at all.
