Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Just to add to that, NVMe is a protocol. The SSD uses a PCIe bus via an M.2 slot. If you ever replace an ssd in a laptop, check whether it is using x2 or x4 PCIe (there are different types that not only affect whether it can physically be inserted but also the bandwidth. In my case, I have a 2x2 (2 for the SSD and 2 for the Optane Module) using the NVMe protocol. I replaced a crappy 128gb drive in my Mom's hp laptop that hp was charging hundreds of dollars for with a 500gb NVME M.2 SSD for 50 dollars on Amazon, but I physically inspected the drive to determine its type beforehand.
