Ok, so i rellay like this laptop and i ordered it last night but before that i watched so many youtube videos on this and most of them are the i5 models with the 1TB SSHD and they say that the m.2 slotis empty so you can upgrade it. If its not empty than you most likeley ahve the i5 with 256 SSD. so with this particular one if the m.2 slot is empty, then yes yu can add an SSD its up to you. This thing will be faster than Flash during the start-up time. You can also take the HHD out (the big 2.5in. thing) and add an SSD if you want to have your computer run like mac. For example a SnaDisk 960GB SSD.
