I bought this laptop for my son, who needed a laptop for college, but also enjoys gaming. I researched the specs that he'd need, and looked for a good option for several weeks. I settled on this one as a good compromise between higher end specs and affordability. It is nice and sturdy, the graphics are nice, and he has absolutely no complaints about the gaming capacity. I didn't give it 5 stars because of the following: it doesn't have an integrated dvd drive, so I had to buy a separate one; it comes with some bloatware that I wanted to remove, esp. from the start menu, but couldn't; in my opinion, it's a little on the heavier side for lugging around in a backpack, though my son says he can manage. Aside from that. I would certainly recommend this product.

This is a great overall laptop. Very powerful processor, great display, battery, and hard drive. The downsides are it only comes with Windows 10 Home edition and I'm not used to the enhanced touch pad mouse.

Overall my experience has been above what I expected. I have been using the laptop primarily for gaming, and the Nvidia 960m has been perfect for playing current games. Also the power is sufficient enough to run statistical analysis programs, for when I am back in school. A con I have been experiencing thus far is a slight glitch in the speakers. But as soon as headphones are on, it goes away. The overall build quality is better than what my old Lenovo Y510p had, but not as good as the Alienware laptops. But as Alienware is a Dell company, and this is their budget gaming laptop, I expected it. Great PC for the price.

This laptop has one of the best configurations and features of the Dell Inspiron Line.Best features include built-in gigabyte ethernet, dual band WiFi, 1 TB hard Drive and an interior slot for any capacity SSD.

The only reason for a four-star instead of a five-star review is that it doesn't have a disc drive.

Spent some money on it to increase the ram and increased SSD in under 90 Now it runs like a beast. Plays pretty much every game i throw at it.

Other good gaming laptops are over $1000 but this one is just as good but with a low price. Its been a month since I got this laptop and i'm very happy

This was a gift for my younger brother. He loves to game. So it was perfect ! A little big but he didn't mind

It may not have the 1060 in it but the 4GB 960M is a nice graphics card that can help process photos in photoshop and actually can play games at a decent level.

Awesome performance for your money but on the screen side is not good I heard some people getting good the LG lcd in it but if you get the BoE brand.screen like I did it is dim and colors are not good.

My son wanted this computer for graduation primarily because he likes to play games. We considered several and decided on this one. Very pleased.

This Dell laptop is a surprisingly a good gaming laptop. due to its low price, it is a "budget gaming laptop"

Very light and easy to travel with. I am flying and overnighting in hotels more nights than not. I love this laptop because, even though I am on the road, I can still do some decent gaming on overnights. I've had it for 3 months and have yet to run into any issues.

There is no other laptop out there that can compete with the specs that this one has. The processor is fast enough for all games and the screen is great for gaming too. The speaker system is amazing and if you want more performance you can do it for less that $100.

The specs of the laptop are great specially the video card supports the basic games with no lag. The start up speed is great and the keyboard feel is good.

We bought this laptop for our 11 year old son. Mostly used for gaming. So far so good. Fast, no lagging!
