In my 1800X, (Christmas 2017, so new 2018 version MAY be a little different) I have added a 2nd 16GB DIMM for 32GB, a PCI-E NVME card that supports (1) NVME & (2) SATA drives, (The onboard NVME port doesn't allow the FULL performance speed of my Samsung 960 NVME drive, but I get full speeds on the PCI-E card.) but the need of the PCI-E NVME drive card costs me my 2nd slot that another video card would go in. Also, YOU WILL need a more powerful power supply to run a 2nd GPU. I think it would be more cost-effective to get a GTX 1080 TI personally. For me, a 2nd RX580 GPU offers NO performance benefit in rendering or editing 4K video. But upgrading to a 1080 TI with a lot of CUDA cores will. Also - MAKE SURE that your new Power Supply's power plug and ON/OFF switch clear the case plastics in the back. I bought a new MODULAR Seasonic 850FX, which fit in terms of dimensions, but the power plug was juuust too far down to clear the back cover. I ended-up switching-in the Seasonic 900-watt MODULAR power supply that I had in my XPS8500 from before.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. At a quick look after removing the panel, I can see 2 RAM slots, 1 is in use (16gb), and the 2nd RAM slot is empty. Maybe someone who knows more will answer the rest.
