Yes its 16x as i took out the RX580 and installed a 1070 worked like a charm.as far as the fans go with some minor tweeking you could get the fans in as there are no CDrom drives,i personally am going to put a water cooler in there still shopping for one.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The cooling before adding extra fans is quite good, actually. The side and front panel pieces that can light up neon blue are not actually solid. As a result, there's quite a bit of airflow available as-is. I've pushed mine quite hard a few times, just to stretch its legs... rendered a video, had a game running, listening to music on a player, and had a youtube going as well. The fans definitely kicked in, but the system was well within any sort of parameters you'd feel comfortable with. I'm not entirely sure you COULD put another fan in the front, as there are drive bays "blocking" the neon blue section, and the solid portions... well, they're solid. Maybe an external desk fan blowing into the open portion of the side?
