Is the monitor matte or glossy? How is the glare? null

The monitor has a glossy screen.

It's glossy. I don't have an issue with glare because I don't have a window behind my desk. However, I don't think that would be a big issue. The screen bright and contrast is great. Also, I found an adapter for $20 and a mount for $50 to put on an arm that makes it really easy to adjust the height and angle. You might consider that if glare is an issue. I've had the monitor for a month and I really enjoy it...it's a great value.
