• This monitor does not have built in speakers. Hence, a two channel speaker has to be connected to the Audio Line-out port for audio output.

• In short, yes. This particular monitor does not have built in speakers, so you’ll need to plug in something (a nice gaming headset?) when playing on the ps5. Some monitors do have built in speakers, but I’ve found them to be a bit lackluster overall. I would recommend using a nice gaming headset for the most immersive sound.
