What is the source of your lag? The monitor can run at 165hz. If you are currently seeing lag while streaming first thing to check would be your internet and then your rig set up. You might be bottle necked through your gpu or from your ram if streaming and playing on a high quality. The monitor shouldn't have and affect on the stream quality.

While the refresh rate is up to 165hz(DP) and 144hz(HDMI), it all depends on what your system(computer, capture card, internet speed) can output while streaming. This monitor will not improve your FPS, if your system is lagging now, it won't be fixed with a new monitor. You will need to upgrade your computer. If it's still lagging check your internet. If it's still lagging check your capture card or software.
