I actually bought it not for gaming, but to use for work. It's a great monitor as I always have two applications open side by side. I also use Adobe Creative Cloud, and use the monitor when teaching my Zoom class. When shopping for a monitor, The QHD resolution is the sweet spot for me. This is a beautiful monitor (I actually bought 2 of them, one for my home office and one for work office). Yes eventually may let my son game on it as the specs are amazing. Although this monitor is expensive, there are much cheaper 4k monitors out there if it's only for work. I'm just a tech freak, but it's worth every penny!
