• This monitor does not have speaker, however you can plus the speakers or headphone to it. The sound would be better if you plug the speakers to the monitor, I think it uses the HDMI-display port connection for sound. I am not sure for display port but it should do the job too, in fact display port will give you 165 Hz whereas HDMI gives you only 144 Hz of refresh rate, always better with display port, Dell includes display port with the box.
