The stand does not come attached to the monitor so you wouldn’t have to attach it. I just don’t know how you’d prop it up without some sort of stand. Unless you have a way to rig it up. There’s no bracket on back for a wall mount. There are a few control buttons on bottom right side so just keep that in mind. You probably wouldn’t want the bottom flat on the surface.and the bottom edge of this monitor is not flat, it has a slight angle.
