Yes, this monitor comes with a USB Type-C cable. The brightness and the Bluelight filter(Comfort view) feature could be adjusted while the monitor is connected to MacBook via USB-C.

You would need a USB-C to HDMI cable to connect to your Macbook as the QM model does not support USB-C video. The Q model however does support USB-C video, but that model is pricier and harder to find. Typically, only Apple monitors can receive brightness commands from your Mac keyboard; most other monitors aren't equipped to adjust like that. This monitor is designed for people who want color accuracy, so I'm not sure if it supports a blue-light filter function, but that's not why people usually buy this monitor. This product is moreso for people in film
