There are fingerprint/oil stains from regular use, but I've made it a habit to wipe down the keyboard and touchpad every other day. I've had the laptop for about 1.5mos and no problems. I guess it depends if the user is eating and typing at the same time, and how often the user wipes down the laptop. Hope this answer helps!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.not for me. People must have dirty fingers! Like any laptop, it gets fingerprints on the touchpad and surrounding areas. But they are not "unsightly" and that we are not "stains". If you have a silk eyeglass cloth, you can easily use that to wipe away the fingerprints.
