If you talk to a manager I'm sure they would. I got a coupon with my Best Buy Visa card that gave me 15% off. Best Buy believes in doing the right thing for their customers. (Or at least the do at mine)

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Not sure if they'll match student discount, but best buy already has best price on 9550 model with 1TB... Not easy to get 1TB version. When I got mine, even Dell didn't have it until later. I like Best Buy best. Only thing I don't like is they do not have in home service like Dell and HP. I talked with management and suggested they should offer Dell or HP or whatever vendor hardware is in home service and pass all costs to customer, even through in extra $100 for themselves as it's worth it. One cannot be without their cell phone for more than a day. Well laptops are becoming same. If you use your laptop daily and even if you put all your info on cloud still will not help if you use Bestbuy extended warranty because they'll send your system out and you don't know when you will get it back: few days, few weeks, few months. They have nothing in writing that guarantees when you will get your system back. Imagine you are in school or use it for work, you need your system up and running as soon as possible. Dell has 2 day guarantee and they will go where ever you request in continental US. Your home or across states if you're somewhere else visiting friends or family, vacation, business trip.
