A:AnswerIt has auto shut off so once it reaches the humidity level you have set it to it shuts off automatically. I set mine between 40 and 50% humidity and it's off most of the time and I have about 900 square feet of damp but fully finished basement. This time of year humidity is not so bad though. Good luck.
