The answer to the question is not really simple as it depends. If you are using this in a commercial sense for a business break room then the answer is yes. It relatively simply makes a good cup of various forms of coffee. That said, your employees will need a little bit of training and hanging a checklist with pictures next to the machine will help. If you are talking about using it for commercial use in a business that producing a lot of coffees (10 or more per hour) then this machine is probably not the best for you as it will need more basic maintenance which will cost time. Alternately, if you have a small restaurant that only needs to make one to eight lattes or espresso based coffees an hour then this could answer your need. It makes a consistent and smooth drink. Additionally, the iced coffee setting is a nice bonus. Again, if you are only serving one to eight per hour then I think this could meet that type of commercial need.
