• Yeah the machine can work with ground coffee but it would not be an “espresso” since the pre ground coffee isn’t ground fine enough to build pressure for an espresso but it will make coffee.

• Yes, as long as they are roasted coffee beans. I use Starbucks Home blended Coffee beans and produced excellent Espresso (Lates).

• You need whole bean. But it can take a lighter roast. There is a guide in the book that tells you what seeing to use based off the beans.
