• Hello, while there is no specific option to make Americanos on this unit, it is possible to make an americano using the hot water spout located on the right side of the unit. We always recommend you prime your unit upon first use and descale your unit with about every 200 coffees. Thank you.

• NO HOT WATER SPOUT. I RAN PLAIN WATER THROUGH IT BEFORE FIRST USE JUST BECAUSE I ALWAYS DO THAT. DON'T THINK IT WOULD WORK WELL FOR AMERICANO. ONLY AVAILABLE WATER COMES THROUGH THE PRESSURIZED FITTING FOR THE ESPRESSO COFFEE FILTER.
