“Is this receiver able to do 2 zones. I saw it said "assignable" under the surround speaker terminals but on the specs sheet it said "no" with regards to dual zones”

• If you haven't done so already, download the user manual from Denon.com (it's a BIG file!) - https://usa.denon.com/us/product/hometheater/receivers/avrs730h (click onthe "Downloads", then download the "English" Owner's Manual). Referring to pages 125-127 of the manual: YES, you can play music in 2 zones. HOWEVER, using "Zone 2" for playback requires feeding the ANALOG L/R ("line-level") jacks - you cannot send audio from any "digital source" to "Zone 2". Hope this helps...
