The AVR-S660H is equipped to receive a 16 BiT 44.1 kHz feed from any source via HDMI, so long as the source carries the content and can output it via HDMI. If it is a stereo feed, your TV needs to be set to PCM with it's digital audio output. 16 Bit, 44.1 kHz is not considered hi res. Typically, it will be anything above 16/44 which is considered hi res, such as 24/96 or 24/192 for example.
