Q: QuestionHi there, 1. Can you please confirm how many HDMI 2.1 inputs this receiver has? 2. Can you confirm that of the HDMI 2.1 inputs, Can I run both a PS5 and Xbox Series X on this system at the same time with 120HZ 4K capability?

• A:Answer Hi Johnny, The AVR-S660H has no less than three HDMI 2.1 inputs (labeled as 8K). A PS5 and an XBox Series X can both connected at the same time. Of course, only one of which can be displayed at a time.

Q: QuestionWhat kind of subwoffer do I need for bass and how do I hook it up too hear it

• A:Answer There are two (2) SUBWOOFER pre-outs on the rear of the unit. You will need a self-powered subwoofer (they come in a variety of sizes and power outputs!) for this and an RCA type connector cable (all of my new subs came with a cable in their box) that has one male end plug for the AVR subwoofer output and either one or two male end plugs for the input on the subwoofer(s). Once installed, go into your AVR's menu to set up for the subwoofer(s). It really is easy to do and as I said, you can hook up two subs (again, if you unit has two!) if that is something you desire. I have two 10 inch subs on my home theater setup from my Denon AVR-X4300H that I bought at my local Best Buy a couple of years ago (Two 10 inch subs!) For my new Denon AVR-S660H I am using a Martin-Logan 10 inch Sub that I also bought a few years ago at Best Buy and it works great with this AVR. All the best! SSSS

Q: QuestionDo I need banana plugs to plug in speakers or will regular speaker wire work?

• A:Answer Regular speaker wire will work fine. You can unscrew the speaker connector to expose the hole for the speaker wire. Tighten the speaker connector and you are finished. I will say that banana plugs make life easier if you ever need to remove your speaker wire for whatever reason.

Q: QuestionI recently bought this model from Best Buy. I want to connect my Roku Premium+ to my Denon S660H AVR to view on my LC-40LE700UN. Can you tell me If my Sharp AQUOS LC-40LE700UN supports ARC? And, if it does how do I connect it to the AVR?

• A:Answer Hi Bob4, I don't see anything about ARC listed in the spec's of your Sharp AQUOS LC-40LE700UN. The best way to enjoy sound from any sources originating from your TV is to connect your Sharp AQUOS LC-40LE700UN to the AVR-S660H with an optical cable for audio. HDMI is recommended for sending any Video information from the AVR-S660H to your TV.

• A:Answer Hello, Yes indeed - with the AVR-S660H there is typically a small plastic cap on the end of the speaker terminal which needs to be removed for the insertion of 4 mm banana plugs.

• A:Answer The provided remote control is not a learnable remote control. However, with today's HDMI control, the TV, Receiver, and Sources communicate using CEC (HDMI Control). Basic control is provided with this new technology—power on and off plus volume. Once the receiver is appropriately set up, the need for the receiver's remote should be rare.

The good news is the nine band manual EQ provided with the AVR-S660H has adjustments for the following frequencies: 63 Hz / 125 Hz / 250 Hz / 500 Hz / 1 kHz / 2 kHz / 4 kHz / 8 kHz / 16 kHz. • A:Answer Hello. The AVR-S660H can support the use of one pair of 4 ohm speakers, but that depends on which Martin Logan speakers you have. Impedance ratings are typically only average measurements, and therefore do not tell the whole story. Subsequently, additional information is required for a more conclusive answer to be provided. If you have more than one pair of 4 ohm speakers, I would suggest looking at the AVR-X3800H. If your speakers prove to be quite demanding (such as Martin Logan electrostatics), you can always add external power amplification.

• A:Answer Hello. Up to 32 Zones are possible with the AVR-S660H when partnered with our wireless Home speaker technology courtesy of the HEOS engine within. The compatible models include the HOME 350, the Home 250, the Home 150, the Home 550 Soundbar, and also the wireless Home Sub-woofer. The AVR-S660H does not have a powered Zone 2 feature. The next model up in our line-up - the AVR-S770H has powered Zone two support.
