Hello Craig, The Denon AVR-S670H features five channels of amplification, allowing you to power five speakers and connect up to two powered subwoofers. The AVR-S670H can effectively power the ML speakers due to their high sensitivity rating of 92dB. However, for optimal performance with the ML speakers, I recommend considering a model from our X series, starting with the AVR-X1800H or higher. Please try again later.I use mine with a surround sound set up and I have never actually tried to see how loud it could go as it has more volume than I need and it was sound quality that I was more concerned about. I am using Monitor Audio speakers in the rear and center in my front left and right speakers are B&W.
