A:AnswerWell, if the model was on sale 2 months ago you will not be able to get that sale price. Even so, this receiver is a great value for its price.
A:AnswerSubwoofers that would be recommended for use with this receiver are self powered and the wattage is dependent on which subwoofer your purchase. The receiver has no bearing on the power output of the subwoofer and will work with a line level input on the subwoofer. Using a speaker level input for a subwoofer, which will work, is not recommended for best audio performance in a home theatre environment.
A:AnswerI was able to independently adjust the zone volume easiest with the Dennon app, it can also be done with the remote buttons by selecting the zone you want to adjust at the top left corner.
A:AnswerManufacturers often show a power output at very high distortion with only one or a few channels driven or at a single rather than the full audio band and into lower impedance loads to print a higher power output figure for marketing purposes. Here are the specs with different distortion levels and channels driven...
Power Output (8 ohm, 20 Hz - 20 kHz, 0.08% 2ch Drive) 75 W
Power Output (6 ohm, 1 kHz, 0.7% 2ch Drive) 110 W
Power Output (6 ohm, 1 kHz, 10% 1ch Drive) 165 W
The more channels that are driven across the full audio band at low distortion levels, the lower the power will be.
A:AnswerMay I suggest that you setup an appointment with BestBuy to bring one of your banana plugged bables into the store and try to insert it into the back of the receiver? This si what I would do. Looks like it should (I used bare wire connection which was easy) but you don't want a surprise during setup.
