• Hi Jrunner, Yes you can. The AV receiver's Surround Back channels can be assigned for use as Zone 2 speakers. This allows the receiver to power a pair of speakers in another area of your home for 5.1ch playback in the Main Zone and 2ch playback in Zone 2. From the AV receiver, you can select different sources and volume levels for the Main Zone, and also for Zone 2.
