“Hi, I'm updating from my Onkyo HT-R590 that stopped working. This receiver came with a 7.1 speaker setup: 6ohm speakers all the way around and a powered subwoofer that is 4ohm with 120w minimum continuous power. Will this setup work with the AVR-X1600H?”

Sure, any of our AVRs can handle a 6 ohm load. The sub is inconsequential as the AVR is sending only signal to the sub and sub's amp powers that signal.
