Hello. All surround speakers need to be passive speakers and therefore hard-wired to the AVR-X1800H. Our 'Home' wireless speakers can be used with the AVR-X1800H - unfortunately, they are not able to receive a discrete surround sound feed as they are designed to receive a stereo feed from a 2 channel source in other rooms of your home.
