Yes, but to take full advantage of the features of this receiver you will need high-quality 8K Ultra high speed HDMI 2.2 cable. Also, "mini" and "micro" plugs would require adapters, so stick with standard plugs. The HDMI cable is often the point of failure in home theater systems, so saving a few dollars on "any old hdmi cable" is probably not the best idea when you've invested in this kind of receiver. In any case, be sure your cable is at least version 2.1 if you intend to use features like eArc (audio return). Match your cable's bandwidth with your TV's specs--many modern TVs support 4K video, for example, but you'd need 4K cable to display it.

If there are just two components in the chain, we recommend Ultra High Speed HDMI cables. If there are more than two components in the chain (for example; AV sources connected to the AVR with HDMI and the AVR connected to the TV with HDMI), we have found any Audioquest Ultra High Speed HDMI cables give reliable results.
