The answer is yes, this AVR can support speakers from 4-8ohms. Just press and hold the main unit's STATUS and ZONE3 SOURCE at the same time for at least 3 seconds. Then select as below: 8 ohms: Select when the impedance for all of the connected speakers is 8 Ω/ohms or over. This is the default setting. 6 ohms: Select when the impedance for any of the connected speakers is 6 Ω/ohms. 4 ohms: Select when the impedance for any of the connected speakers is 4 Ω/ohms. Then press ENTER to complete the setting. Please refer to the owners manual, page 43.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, this reciever will work fine with 6 or 8ohm speakers
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes 4ohms are usually a speaker thats a lil harder to push but it will and it also will do 6 nd 8ohms. Most of my klipsch speakers are 8ohms and the 2 front are getting all the watts they need while all other speakers are getting about $75 to 80% of the remaining watts which is pretty standard. You would definitely want 6 or 8ohm speakers preferably for multi channel hook ups. If you have any 4ohm speakers i would suggest only 2 for the front R nd L speakers...And if you need more wattage(power) You can hook up a seperate amp to power them as well
