I just use the speaker outlets that come with the denon and it works just fine. Loud enough for me without breaking the bank. Loud and clear at good listening levels
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello, That depends on your speakers. If they are not a demanding load, the DRA-800H is equipped to impress with it's speaker-driving capabilities.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The dra 800h is a high quality stereo receiver and amp. Entry level audiophile quality. I have two, both driving 4 ohm Induction Dynamics ID-1s. The first set up is just the denon plus phono and Blue Ray. It sounds awesome. The second set up is a two channel theater set up where I use a crown 2 channel amp to drive the huge subwoofers. That gives more boom from the 4 massive, passive subwoofers
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That depends on your speakers and room size. When i moved into my girlfriend's condo there was no room for my high end home theater. I brought my beautiful B&W 802 speakers and had no room for my separate 300w monoblocs, or Emotiva processor. Bought the Denon. We primarily listen to jam band streams. At volumes where you can feel the kick drum in your diaphragm it sounds good. My only complaint is a really bad set up manual. A lot is very unintuitive.
