• The amplifier and the receiver are both HEOS related products. You can simultaneously play both through the HEOS app. I connect 2 speakers to my amp for behind my pool and I use the receiver for speakers at the patio and inside the house. I can combine the systems and play the same music via the HEOS app. I hope this helps.
