Only the new Heos Bar will give you wireless 5.1 surround. It can be combinrd with all Heos speaker sizes. It is brand new and amazing! The retail is $899.00 and the sub for the new system is $599. It's more money but worth more than the price difference. We just installed this system using Heos 3 speakers for rear and the sound field is beautiful. The Heos 1 surround option should be very close in quality. Also when the setup is playing music it is very impressive.

Actually i've looked into it and you cannot do that. The HEOS BAR can do that but not this one. This one will only operate the wireless speakers as standalone for other rooms. It will not use the wireless speakers as surround speakers.

Yes... subwoofer and sound bar sound great as is.
