Just do not connect the FL, FR, and Center speakers to the binding posts. Set the Amp Assign parameters to the desired surround setup (5.4.2, 7.4.2, 11.2, etc.) and connect the surround speakers to the appropriate binding posts (there is a displayed configuration for these connections).
