This is my 3rd Denon (3803,X3000 and X4300h. The system is excellent. Enough power for new 7.1 Bowers & Wilkins surround speakers, superior 4K up scaling and HEOS. I have noticed a big difference in the picture quality on my Sony Xbr950. I am streaming TIDAL and the sound quality is phenomenal. I will add HEOS wireless speakers eventually.

Upgraded from previous model that didn't have wifi. Great sound. Awesome for Movies. Not a fan of the App used for streaming music. Difficult to select actual stations on Sirius XM. Appears only a select few can be selected? Defeats the purpose also have to pay extra for service. Aside from that a killer unit

DENON X4300H A good and getting better

A very good choice for an advanced receiver, not quite ready for prime time. Calls to support have shown that the http interface has not been deployed but scheduled for Spring 2017 release. Some quirks have shown up when "auto on" features are turned on. The system turns on all zones and can on occasion display a black field on all inputs. This is easily corrected by turning off each zone then turning on each zone (one at a time). All the issues I have are software related and future releases will address these shortcomings. As of Dec 2016 you'll need to have some AVR knowledge to insure a quality experience. Installing in home without that experience is much too early. Overall, a good unit with a plethora of features that make advanced system installs easy. I can't recommend this unit to my friends without the above caveot. Looking forward to Denon's updates. Purchased this receiver as I wanted to expand into a 7.1.2 system, and it hasn't disappointed. Setup was easy as always with Audyssey. Something worth noting is that, although the standard advice is to let your TV do 4K upscaling, the X4300h seems to do a marginally better job then even the Samsung KS8000. Also the receiver has 11 channel processing, so with the addition of a 2 channel amp (such as the Russound P75) it can also do a 7.1.4 configuration.

    Entertainment Workhouse

This thing is a workhouse! The amplified 9.2 provides plenty of amplified channels for your atmos setups. It includes an additional 2 non-amplified connections if you decide to expand down the road. You just need to provide the power elsewhere, but you keep the ability to configure everything in the same place. This has enough power to drive the large speaker formats and everything is crystal clear.

Fantastic after the 50% price drop

Maybe I'm just daft, but I don't fully understand the huge prices stuck to some of these home theater receivers. This is a fantastic one, but dropping the price by almost 50% just because the next year's model is coming out makes me really ponder the true value. Is there such thing as cutting-edge technology with audio equipment? Most of this stuff hasn't changed a whole lot over time. With that said, I upgraded to this receiver for two reasons - more speaker outs for Atmos, and so that I could use my old AVR-S900W in my computer room for audio instead of buying stereo amp. At $800 versus the $380 I paid for the AVR-S900W, I honestly can't say it was worth the extra cost unless you specifically need to drive more than 7.1 channels.

I bought this to replace a 10 yo receiver. While my biggest reason for doing so was 4k pass through, I am really happy and surprised at the better sound processing. Makes the rear surround speakers come to life. I also found to easy to use and a snap to set up, and it would be even for someone setting up an a/v receiver for the first time. If you are on the fence, do it, its an awesome receiver!

I have been a fan of Denon having had a AVR-2308ci for several years. Needed the 4k and expanded the uses to included to Bluetooth capabilities for music and such. Receiver very easy to set up, makes audio and video better. The app is cool and gives an extra fine tuning ability on different sources. Looking forward to using the HEOS in the future. Worth the money.

i got this one on clearance as I already own the x3300 and wanted this one for HEOS and to do 5.2.4. Denon was my first real receiver and its a great start to home theater and price vs features seem to be right. I will say this tho, if your thinking I only want 5.1 or 7.1 go the next size up for down the road you can add some more speakers!

I upgraded to this receiver from an AVR-S900W and couldn't be happier. I'm not sure it would be worth four times what I paid for my old receiver, but the price dropped by half because new models are coming out soon. Overall, more inputs than I'll ever need, and plenty of power to drive my massive JBL Studio towers.

This AV receiver works great. I love controlling the volume with my phone. Effortlessly powers two floor standing speakers, rear bookshelfs, and a center. Audyssey makes my 5.1 Klipsch speakers shine (although I did tweak settings to fit my personal preference) Blurays are incredibly immersive.

After purchasing both the Yamaha A2060 and the Denon 4300h, i can definitively say that my overall experience with the Denon was preferred. Denon's audyssey tuning is simply amazing. Sound quality is excellent and menu easy to navigate. Wonderful product for the money!

Very easy to set up, 4k pass thru works great, got it during Black Friday with a free $200 HEOs speaker too! If you want an Atmos setup this receiver will not disappoint. I have a 5.1.4 setup with this receiver and it sounds awesome!!

This receiver has turned out to be great. Its more than powerful enough. It also was a breeze to setup. (To be fair, not my first Denon). The GUI has been improved upon so that everything is easy to do.

The Denon x4300h rivals my Denon 4802R that I purchased in 2003. The on-screen guide made it easy to setup to my existing home theatre. When playing my DVDs it's like hearing a totally new system. I'm hearing sounds I've never heard before. At first, I didn't hear any audio, only seeing the video. I found out it was the HDMI output plug on my old bluray player, which I never used. I understand that these HDMI connections can build up dust and get a tarnished film that compromises the continuity. My old system used the component outputs so the HDMI was exposed and became unusable. I purchased a new player and a new HDMI cable and everything worked perfectly. Thank you Jesus.

It is the best of all. So easy to setup and calibrate thanks to Audyssey MultiEQ feature. Got this as a replacement to my 10-year-old Yamaha receiver. Nothing to complain.
