Yep, it does blow air. It is the equivalent of a hair dryer as far as electricity consumption goes. So if one of those does not trip your breaker, you are good to go.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We keep it on the floor in the bathroom, it doesnt blow a tremendous amount of air & we only use for short periods of time. Again, we dont leave it running constantly and live in a 900 sq ft duplex and havent noticed a change in our bill. not sure of BTU's, sorry, but perhaps get a shut off timer, it plugs into the wall & you can have it shut off after a few hours or whatever.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Blows a very gentle warm stream of air. I don't think it will affect your electric bill. Heater's is solid. small and unique.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.600 watts => 5 amp draw - 2,047.2 Btus - kinda like six 100 watt light bulbs. It does have a fan - if eyes are sensitive - turn the fan so it doesn't blow directly into your eyes. One hour of use it would spin your wattmeter 1.2 kilo watt. There is just two settings on this heater => OFF - or - 600 watts.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This product does not blow air. It is only a heater. Also, I'm not sure how many BTUs it has, but I can say it does not use a tremendous amount of electricity. In the one month I've owned it so far, my electricity savings did more than pay for it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Because this is a desktop heater does use much electric.
