“micophone sound is it any good like no static or distortion my current sound card sounds fine until I want to use Skype, venttillo, or mumble all my friends said its sending them a high pitch ring in their ears so I swap my stand mic for a headset I just bought same thing so my buddy asked me it must be your sound card so for me can the sound card still work (computer sounds, videos, games still have sound) but my microphone doesn't so I am asking for this card will it be the same? or will it work and make best buy the electronic store for me”

many of the programs you have listed allow a user to tweek, ie adjust sound setting for that program's use. might try that

This will have better sound quality and a better microphone response over basic onboard sound, depending on your speakers or headphones.
