Questionmicophone sound is it any good like no static or distortionmy current sound card sounds fine until I want to use Skype, venttillo, or mumble all my friends said its sending them a high pitch ring in their ears so I swap my stand mic for a headset I just bought same thing so my buddy asked me it must be your sound card so for me can the sound card still work (computer sounds, videos, games still have sound) but my microphone doesn't so I am asking for this card will it be the same? or will it work and make best buy the electronic store for me

- Answer many of the programs you have listed allow a user to tweek, ie adjust sound setting for that program's use. might try that

QuestionMac compatible?I'm running OS X 10.7.5 on a Mac Pro computer. Bought an M-Audio card on Ebay but it didn't fit in the PCI slots in my Mac. Your card doesn't have the same pin slot configuration - the front portion of the card I got is what wouldn't fit so perhaps this one will fit. I am running an Intel Mac so hopefully that will help. If your response is positive, I'll be running out to your store tomorrow morning to pick one up. Thanks for your time, Mike Wonders
