The plug-ins were broken on my on-board sound card, and I needed something that would work - but not be terribly expensive. This card meets all my needs, and actually sounds pretty good through headphones. I'm running Windows 10, and had to change a couple of drivers and update the Device Manager (disable the onboard sound controls). Everything works great, especially for the price!

My original sound card was in the motherboard of my computer, and after years of use, finally went out. To replace it , I was going to get a Creative brand sound card , but after reading reviews online, I went with the Diamond Extreme. (Better price for comparable quality.) Very happy--easy installation., and now my dinosaur tower sounds like a movie theater!

Integrated sound on mother board went out. Computer is seven years old, but otherwise works great. Saw this card on Bestbuy website which was cheap and had good reviews. Bought it and it installed easily. Loaded drivers and sound is very good. Great sound card for the money.

Purchased this sound card online but needed it same day as I was working on a customer's computer. I was able to do a store pickup. The process went smoothly and the card installed without a problem. It works well and my customer is satisfied.

installed easily. Get drivers online rather than from supplied disk, as they will be more recent.. Audio center on disk very good with many effects and fratures.

This was a simple install and the sound card actually provided much better sound than the integrated sound on the computer motherboard. It solved the problems that I was having with the integrated audio.

Simple to install. Just plug it in and load the included drivers. Worked right off the bat. What more could you ask for? Pleased with this purchase.

No problems installing this PCI sound card. Worked as expected. Cheap fix for my computer as the factory/built in sound went bad.

Had a computer that I updated to Windows 10 and the audio suddenly didn't work. (Or it might have failed while it was mothballed...) Since I was reconditioning the older PC for my son, I wanted audio available for him. This card installed as expected, however, installing drivers was a necessity. Once they were installed, though, it worked quite well and we are generally happy with its performance.

I bought this card for a computer that lacked good sound. It worked like a champ for 5.1 Dolby surround sound, I would recommend it.

Arrived quickly. Pretty easy install (Win7) ... had to restart and rerun software a few times ... but in and working good.

Installation for this is pretty straightforward; open PC, find your PCI port, plug it in and go. It does come with an installation disc, though the software aspect of this product can be stubborn at first. Had to restart my computer twice before 5.1 finally took correctly, but haven't had a problem since.

Only one card for pick up. Did its job and very happy. Good sound in games.

Hard to find a card that will except Midi and this one does and does a great job. Very pleased.
