Q: QuestionIs it supposed to say 100% all the time even without a battery connected. If so, how do I know my battery is charging because the display still says 100%

• A:Answer It's a "dumb" charger basing the GOM display number on voltage at the pins.... If the voltage is high at the pins it will be 100%. Only when a discharged battery is connected will the number go down.

• A:Answer You slide the plate that is on the charger, it takes a bit of doing. There are thumb places on each side of the plate to hold when you slide it. One you get it off it gets easier.
