• Absolutely not. Just pop the tape in and push play. Let it run for 30 seconds. Rewind and eject. Good for up to 30 uses.

• Clean Dr. for VCR is a dry cleaning system. Just insert into VCR and press Play. Use every 20 hours of VCR use. Clean Dr. should be replaced after 30 uses. Hope that helps!

• There was no fluid in the tape cleaner pkg. This head cleaner did NOT WORK for me!!
