A: Just insert into VCR after about 20 hours of use, no fluid required. CleanDr operates for 30 seconds to clean VHS head. Since no fluid is added or used, the VHS Head Cleaning cassette should be replaced after 30 uses. Pretty simple. Suggest marking box or cassette with a number or such to keep track of times used.
Q: Do you have to add cleaning liquid to the tape before you put the tape in the VCR for cleaning?
A: Absolutely not. Just pop the tape in and push play. Let it run for 30 seconds. Rewind and eject. Good for up to 30 uses.
