Questionwhat kind of assembly is required? And how long is cord?

- Answer Hi PJF! The only assembly required is inserting the cleaning wand into the top of the vacuum and securing the hose. No tools are required. The cord length is 25 feet. Hope this helps!-Karissa, Dirt Devil Customer Care.

- Answer Hi Slick! The Pro Power takes a genuine Dirt Devil style 15 belt. It is available online using part number 1SN0220001. To replace the belt: Turn your vacuum over. Use a Phillips screwdriver to take off the 6 screws. Remove the bottom plate. Next, Slip belt around the brushroll in area without bristles and metal pin. Each end of the brushroll will fit into pockets on each side of the nozzle. Put the plate back on and screw together. Hope this helps! ~Kenya, Dirt Devil Customer Care

QuestionSo far love this vacuum. Just changed the belt for first time & omg it was hard to get roller brush back in but it's set. Now the bottom plate wont line up to screw back on. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance!
