This is a new model from DJI. There's not really a previous model, but I'd guess you're talking about the Mavic Pro more than the Spark. It's specs are mostly on par with the Mavic Pro, same camera sensor size and 4k ability, but it's half the size or so of the Mavic Pro when they're folded up. The Spark is a silly thing, a toy, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, but it seems they borrowed a lot of the design to create this Mavic Air.
