Yes it has follow me feature it works great. It also has sensors that will detect something from behind

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No sensors on the back and it does have the follow me feature. It actually has 2 different follow me modes. One will fly behind you and follow you and the other the drone will be in front of you. It’s great. Both modes work pretty good.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The follow function is done with the app you download to your tablet or phone. It attaches with the port on the side (they give you all the wires needed for this). I HIGHLY suggest a tablet as it is just easier to see and use. You can buy the holder from Best buy that has the DJI name all over it and costs a fortune or a knock off on eBay (what I did) and a 3ft cord that will plug in on the bottom of the controller. Just remember to unplug the connector on the side. Far as sensors they are only in the front and on the rear. The drone won't go reverse in follow. It will turn and follow you from behind. Just remember to move slow or be a large target. Over all I am very very happy with this drone as opposed to the other one I tried. Won't mention it by name just because it doesn't matter. This is the one you want. This is how mine looks with a wrap, and the controller thing to plug in a tablet.
